Project Description
This project was developed for Pioneer India around the DMH-ZF8550BT head unit, with a focus on creating a more cinematic and controlled way to present the product.
Instead of treating it like a standard product render, the goal was to build a visual language that reflects the experience of using the device, clean, precise, and slightly futuristic. The environment was kept dark and minimal, allowing light, reflections, and motion to define the form of the product and guide attention across key features.
We explored multiple visual directions throughout the project, from abstract, space-inspired setups to in-car contexts, to create a balance between atmosphere and usability. The darker scenes helped emphasize the display, UI clarity, and surface finishes, while controlled highlights were used to bring out edges, materials, and depth without over-lighting the product.
A big part of the process was refining how the screen content integrates into the visuals. The UI had to feel sharp and vibrant without breaking realism, which meant carefully balancing brightness, reflections, and viewing angles across different shots.
